A Little About Us...

This site, lakeforktexas.com, is the brainchild of internet hobbyists, Cassidy Lackey and Jerry King. In 2008, Cassidy was researching local lake communities for real estate and vacation rentals but the information available online was sparce and difficult to locate. So, we set out to change that.

Our goal is to become the "official" online guide for Lake Fork. With our design, development and marketing talents, we will create a valuable interactive community for Lake Fork residents and visitors. Launched in December of 2008, our first objective was to connect Lake Fork real estate buyers and sellers as well as Lake Fork rental property owners and vacationers.

Cassidy resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife, Danielle and 4 kids, Riley, Avery, Carson and Reese. As a full time job, Cassidy is a Vice President at a local wireless software company. Cassidy enjoys spending time with his family, real estate investing, online businesses and serving at his local church, Cross Timbers Community Church. Jerry King and his wife, Kelly also reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Jerry is an talented internet software architect for the same wireless software company. Jerry enjoys hanging out with his wife and serving in his church, Fellowship Church.
