Lake Fork

Because Life is Better at the Lake

Quick Fork Report 2-22-2018

Lake Fork Guide, Eric Wright
My name is Eric Wright, I am a professional tournament angler and licensed full-time guide working on Lake Fork.

Went out Saturday (2-17) /Sunday 2-18 /Monday 2/19 and found surface temp starting at 52-54 where I was fishing (Sat was a lot colder). We are definatley  colder this year. The good news is the bigger fish have started to move up in the creeks and the lake is full. Number-wise the fishing was really good with a weightless fluke and Senko. My clients were catching fish in 1-4 feet of water and on a half day trip Monday they had 15-20 fish. We'll get back out there this weekend and see what the recent weather has done to the fishing and I will make sure to update here. As of this post the lake is 403.49 and the gates are open.

For those of you looking to get out on a guided trip on Lake Fork, I'd love to have you.

My last available March days are March 1, 2, 5 and 7th

Beginning March 1, I will be adjusting my full day rates from $400 to $450. All full day trips booked before March 1 will be set at my current rate. Half day trips and Summer Special rates will stay the same. I appreciate y'all stopping by and look forward to hearing from you.
