12 boats ventured out onto a very warm day for early November. Which turned into a cold very windy afternoon with temps hovering below 45.

But while it did affect the fishing very few actually were skunked and more left with boat troubles.

Hard Core is what we call this tournament, but it follows the Major League Fishing format where every fish you catch over 10" counts. With Lake Fork partitioned into three sections and the section available to fish unknown until the morning of. This morning section 2 was chosen. In two weeks when they fish the final only section 1 and 3 will be available to fish. 50% of the field or six boaters and 6 co-anglers will advance to the finals.

1st place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 5 bass for 4.66 LB with a 1.54 LB lunker caught on a skinny dipper.

5th place went to George Mc Cane of Dallas with 2 bass for 1.34 with a lunker of .84 LB

6th place went to Alf Tuggle of Trophy Club with 1 bass for 1.29 LB.

Despite the falling temps the guys were still able to catch 35 bass. But as you can see the big girls probably moved into deeper warmer water.
