Over 8 deeded acres...2 ponds...3 leaseback acres...500' of shoreline...with a beautiful home secluded among the acres of trees...on world-famous Lake Fork...a truly rare find! This wonderful single owner home was built by Burnett Construction (one of the top builders here for many years) and looks as great today as it did when it was built. Some of the recent updates include new roof...completely repainted inside and out. All exterior cedar trim and posts have been stained and sealed. The home features propane gas water...6-burner cooktop. The well-appointed kitchen showcases Thermador and Kitchen-Aid appliances with plenty of cabinets surrounding the large island with dropdown Vent-a-Hood. The kitchen leads into the massive 24' x 24' great room with vaulted ceiling and 3-sided WBFP. Right off the great room is one of the true highlights of this great home...the astonishing library with walls of shelves with glass cabinets doors holding thousands of books plus a built-in desk and finally a concrete safe room with steel door. You'll love the large, covered porch area across the back with screened-in sections off the master and the kitchen areas. There is a wonderful breezeway connecting the home to the incredible 30' deep by 50' wide garage with 3 rollup doors and one pedestrian entry. This allows plenty of room for storage plus a workshop or just about anything! The detached outdoor studio is perfect for an artist's retreat...hobby room or overflow sleeping accommodations. The studio is air-conditioned and has a half bath. The whole property is on well water for great convenience. There's additional storage in the enclosed metal building. The tree lined path down to the lake leads to the small boat house for Lake Fork access. This family chose the privacy provided by the surrounding woods, but another family might wish to clear the underbrush and canopy the trees to open a view of Lake Fork...your choice. Don't wait...this is a once in a very long-time opportunity.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jun. 22)

GOOD. Water Stained; 75 degrees; 5.99 feet low. The crappie bite on Lake Fork has been just a little bit finicky this past week. Best depths have been 13-23 feet with fish in brush and suspended on laydowns and trees, or holding on the bottom of underwater bridges and road beds. Minnows are still the go to bait and the smaller the minnows the better for finicky fish. Same goes for your hand ties and soft plastics. Downsizing can make the difference between a slow day and a stellar day in the heat of the summer. Report provided by Jacky Wiggins, Jacky Wiggins Guide Service. Bass are good with 3/4 ounce shaky heads or football jigs in green pumpkin and orange or June bug in 14-25 feet of water off drop-offs or channel swings. Carolina rigs are good in the same areas with a 10 inch blue fleck or LFT ring fry in bluegill color good in 15-25 feet of water. Deep crankbaits are decent over long points and channel swings. DD -22 in chartreuse and blue, TW Ghost chartreuse and blue good over 18-23 feet. Report by Lake Fork fishing guide Marc Mitchell and Jason Hoffman, Lake Fork Pro.
