Few areas around Lake Fork allow Airbnb rentals...This property allows it and has a cute 2-bedroom guest cottage...and the best news is...it is waterfront! Including a boathouse in an area known for catching those trophy fish! This log home has a wraparound porch with a screened in area off the master. With over 2 deeded acres and around 2 acres of leaseback there is plenty of room to add another cabin if you choose. Prepare to be wowed when you walk into the main house with its amazing views of the lake. This open concept layout allows for large gatherings without you ever feeling crowded...the living room is enormous but still feels warm and inviting with its wood walls and ample built-ins spanning one entire wall on each side of the stone framed wood burning fireplace. There is an area between the kitchen and living area that would be perfect for a game table or additional dining! The kitchen will not disappoint with tons of cabinets, large island (on wheels) and plenty of countertop space...there is also a built-in hutch offering even more storage. The master bedroom is large enough to have a separate sitting area or possibly an office space. There is plenty of space in the 2 additional bedrooms to make your guests feel right at home. The 1200 SF guest cottage has all you need for long or short term stays with its sizable kitchen, considerable living area and an abundance of space for several people to sleep and be comfortable...incidentally the extra storage area with roll up door has washer/dryer hookups! There is also an RV hookup, (not with septic) The detached shop is perfect for those projects with extra parking beside the 2-car carport. Out back you will enjoy watching the wildlife from the porch or sitting out by the firepit...so don't forget to bring the boat and fishing poles to start making those memories with friends and family around on the boathouse. You want to check this one out and begin living the lake life you have always dreamed of!!

Fishing Report from TPWD (May 31)

GOOD. Water Stained; 80 degrees; 0.79 feet below pool. Bass are slow on frogs and topwaters early around points with flooded vegetation. Carolina rigs or flukes will land a few bites on points and humps in 7-12 feet of water, or deep crankbaits fished in 15-18 feet of water around timber and drop offs near points. The bite should improve on windy days, but lately there has been very little wind Report by Marc Mitchell, Lake Fork Pro. Black bass are good on topwater frogs and bait fish pattern lures on flooded timber and grass. Bream are excellent on beds. Report by Guide Alex Guthrie, Fly Fish Fork Guide Service. The crappie fishing on Lake Fork keeps getting hotter and hotter along with the Texas heat. Fish are loading up on trees, brush and lay downs in 18-28 feet. Bridges are also a good place to look for a mess of crappie on sunny days. You may have to search around to find the columns that are holding good fish. A lot of fast limits this past week on small hand tied jigs on my boat and minnows have also been producing strong for some guides and anglers. Report by Jacky Wiggins, Jacky Wiggins Guide Service.
