Saturday August 12th will be the WCCC "Hotter than Heck" Crappie Tournament on Lake Fork. This tournament is a 2 Member Draw - Team Tournament. Sign up Friday, August 11th between 4:00 - 5:00 PM at the weigh-in location (Gathering Place at the back of Paradise RV Resort off Hwy 17). This is the usual weigh-in location. The team draw will be at 5:30 PM. The entry fee is $40.00 per team. Fishing time Saturday is from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, must be in line by 12:30 PM. Prize money will be given out at the Saturday club meeting at 4:00 PM back at the tournament location.

Lake Fork Fishing Report from TPWD (Oct. 11)

Water stained; 75–78 degrees; 0.58’ low. Black bass are slow on squarebill crankbaits, topwaters, and spinnerbaits. White and yellow bass are good on topwaters and minnows. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
