More Info

In just five short years, CAT's "Crappiefest" Tournament has become the largest and richest "Big Crappie" Tournament in the Country! Each angler weighs in just one crappie, and you can fish from a boat, the bank, a dock, a kayak or a tube. You can even wade-fish if you like! With a tournament format like this, every single angler, regardless of skill level, has a chance to win serious cash! Crappie anglers of all ages can fish and the entry fees are reasonable enough to bring the whole family. The entry fee for adults is $75 and junior anglers (17 and under) fish for free.

The top twenty places will all pay out cash.
1st place will pay out a minimum of $5,000 in cash.
Monster Crappie Bonus (3+ pound crappie) is minimum of $7,500 in cash.
The entry fee is only $75 per person (Plus a $5 convenience fee for online registration)
CAT has teamed up with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) and 1/3rd of all entry fees will be donated by CAT to the NOCC

Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 17)

GOOD. Water cloudy to clear; 85 degrees; 1.09 feet below pool. Starting to see some turnover in the backs of pockets after the last cool spell. Bass are good on the main lake early in the day with topwaters, chatterbaits and square bill crankbaits until the midday sun. Texas rigs and shaky heads are good around docks and timber in 5-7 feet of water. Carolina rigs are fair on big points with fluke type baits and 7 inch worms in 12-17 feet of water. Deep crankbaits are fair over the ends of deep points and road beds. Report by Marc Mitchell, Mitchell's Guide Service.
