The WCCC April meeting will be on Saturday the 10th at the Yantis Community Center. Meeting will start at 3:00 PM with our "Meet & Greet" along with a "50/50 Pot". This meeting will wrap up our "2021 Spring Crappie Madness Training" with something different. The Virtual Slab Tournament is up and running and is beginning dominated by a few folks. All you have to do is GO FISH and catch that 15" crappie to be eligible to win part of the $1,000.00 Payout ! This meeting will be the last time you'll be able to buy a Virtual Slab Tournament Serial Number. The tournament ends at midnight on April 30th. Guest are welcome to attend.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 7)

FAIR. Water lightly stained; 59-62 degrees; 0.35 low. Largemouth bass are fair on bladed spinners, crankbaits, jerk baits, curly-tailed worms and skirted jigs in 2-8’. White and yellow bass are fair with spoons and swimbaits in the creeks and feeder arms. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs near docks and creeks. Catfish are slow on punch bait and cut bait in 8-20’.
