Lake Fork Anglers (LFA) Bass Fishing Club Tournament Results: 3/05/2026

Format:  Hard Core Tournament – All Bass 10 inches and over count towards total weight scored.

A great day of bass fishing in-spite of following an overnight thunderstorm. 36 members fished today with 272 bass caught and released, with a total weight of 490.65 lbs. of bass, including 9 lunkers over 5 lbs.

Bill Wilcox set the high bar today with 28 bass caught, while Randy Bunch contuses to hold an earlier club weight record of 78.41lbs. of bass caught in a single club tournament.

1. Bill Wilcox with 28 Bass @ 56.65 lbs.
2. Mike McWhorter with 26 Bass @ 34.81 lbs.
3. Ken Chapman with 13 Bass @ 28.54 lbs.

Lunker:  Bill Wilcox @ 7.68 lbs.

1. C.J. Riffle with 16 Bass @ 23.37 lbs.  
2. Ken Kielbas with 10 Bass @ 20.83 lbs.

The Lake Fork Anglers (LFA) tournaments are two-person catch and release tournaments held every Thursday with an angler and a co-angler per boat.  Anglers compete against anglers and Co-Anglers compete against co-anglers. 

Two club tournament formats are rotated weekly.  

• LFA – best 5 Bass over 10”
• Hard Core – all Bass over 10”

Members are mostly seniors, with membership  open to all persons who are physically able to fish and function
