Mark has been guiding full time on Lake Fork since 1982. He caught Ethel, the former Texas State Record in 1986, weighing 17.67 pounds. He is still the unofficial State Record holder for the largest bass caught on an artificial lure. He puts his all into giving his clients the best trip possible. Barbara has been guiding full time on Lake Fork since 1987. She won the Bass N Gal Texas invitational on Lake Fork in 1991. Barbara loves teaching and helping clients catch their bass of a lifetime. Mark and Barbara offer guide trips for bass, crappie, and Sandbass year round. Also gift certificates are available anytime.

Lake Fork Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 23)

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 1.58 low. Largemouth bass are fair on slow-moving finesse worms and jigs near standing flooded timber, points, and drop-offs. White and yellow bass are fair in deeper water with slabs and jigging spoons. Crappie are slow on minnows in 18-25’ in brush piles and standing timber. Catfish are good on punch bait in 12-24’.
