Mark Spaeth Takes Third Place

David Ozio reports Mark Spaeth finished 3rd overall in the Bass Champs Mega Bass Tournament on Lake Fork. He won the noon hour hauling in $15,000. He was paired with Curtis Daniels.

GOOD. Water cloudy to clear; 85-90 degrees; 0.91 feet below pool. Early and late bass topwater bite around grasslines and isolated cover on main lake and secondary points. Try frog and mouse patterns for topwater. Bass are beginning to school, a hard-bodied popper should work well. Bream are shallow, try small hoppers.
